We are proud to be a part of the University of Reading and we offer a range of exciting opportunities for students.

Museum Studies students

Our Museum Studies programme is a unique chance to combine a heritage qualification with Archaeology or Classics at an undergraduate level.

You will take on challenging projects with real collections in working museums with professional staff. You will benefit from placements and engage in a third year exhibition module.

We also support dissertations on museum and public heritage topics. Please contact us to find out more.

Volunteering and the Student Panel

You can get involved in our Volunteer Programme while you study. We also have a thriving Student Panel who advise museum staff and run exciting events. At the University of Reading your volunteer work is recognised via the RED Award.

Collections-Based Research

Classes from around the University use our collections for teaching. We run a Collections-Based Research training programme for PhD students. We also provide training for Masters students in related subjects.
